ERP FACTS Module (Developer) – Description

Document Processing

Email (InFor) – An essential tool that allows quick and easy Email reports and documents from workstations directly from an ERP FACTS program. Enter the recipient information, type the custom message, choose multiple recipients (To, CC, Bcc), and the email is automatically created defaulting to the users name and email address. Email addresses can be stored.

Archive (InFor) – An ERP FACTS secure storage and retrieval system. Stored in the FACTS format, information is organized and easy-to-access directly from inside ERP FACTS. ERP FACTS security and authorizations apply to Archived documents.

UnForm (SDSI, Inc) – Removes the need to create, store, and use pre-printed forms within ERP FACTS. A useful Paper Reduction tool to start eliminating your company's dependence on paper. Best used when coupled with Archive or UnForm Document Management.

Fax Link (InFor) – A tool to easily and quickly Fax reports and documents from workstations directly from an ERP FACTS program. Unlimited cover pages are included and may be customized as needed. Faxes can be sent immediately or at a specific time with-in 24 hours. Fax directories can be created.

UPS WorldShip (DPI) – WorldShip® Integration Module provides functionality that allows the exchange of information between ERP FACTS and the UPS WorldShip® system.


Document Management and Storage System

File Attachment (LSi) – A tool to attach or link files and websites to ERP FACTS File Maintenance programs. Determine the formats of files allowed (txt, xls, PDF, jpg, etc.) and valid F/M programs (Customer F/M, Vendor F/M, Item F/M, etc.) then link the two on the FACTS server.

UnForm Document Management (SDSI, Inc) – A web browser based secure storage and retrieval system which runs on the ERP FACTS server. ERP FACTS documents are archived PDF versions identical to UnForm printed documents. External documents can be imported or scanned. Image/Scanning supports OCR and bar code recognition. Documents can be retrieved any time directly from inside ERP FACTS or via a secure internet login.


Document Delivery (InFor) – A tool to automatically distribute batch printing of invoices, statements, dunning letters, pick tickets, quotes, return authorizations, or purchase orders in the recipient’s preferred manner directly from the ERP FACTS program. Customers and vendors are designated to receive a paper copy, email, or fax and then the ERP FACTS program automatically delivers the batch per the recipient’s preference.

MaxRecall (MaxRecall Technologies, Inc.) - A secure storage and retrieval system. Features include: Automatic routing of any ERP FACTS document, Image Manager for scanning including OCR, alerts for expired certificates, link/group documents for audit/research, pull keyword data directly from ERP FACTS, Outlook/Lotus Notes address book integration, integration to other databases, and web access.


Warehouse Management System - WMS

Wireless Warehouse (LSi) – Quickly and accurately receive purchase orders, pick sales orders, ship and receive warehouse transfers, and count physical inventory. A hand-held wireless terminal uses radio frequency and a barcode scanner to enter data directly into the ERP FACTS.

Radio Beacon (Accellos) – A real-time Warehouse Management System that integrates with ERP FACTS to assist in monitoring and scheduling in-warehouse processes such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control. Using radio frequency, barcodes, and an internet architecture, stock movement is tracked into and out of the warehouse.

Production Control

Manufacturing Control (Infor) – Provides distributors with a highly efficient system for managing the production process and supports make-to-order, configure-to-order, make-to-stock and kitted production.


Data Mining

Pro Business Intelligence (Earnest & Associates) – takes data collected and stored in ERP FACTS and turns it into meaningful information that you can use in your day-to-day activities. With information in accessible reports and analysis, you can make well-informed, timely business decisions. It gives you the means to understand the "why" behind your business performance.

Report Writer (Infor) – High-performance tool that enables you to create reports from any ERP FACTS data file. Eliminates customer programming for special reporting needs. This convenient tool provides users with enhanced flexibility to create the reports they need, in their required format, when they are needed.


eCommerce and Sales Tools


Storefront (InFor) – An ERP FACTS online sales tool with two components – eCommerce Catalog and eCommerce Storefront. eCommerce Catalog provides a simple web portal for managing and delivering a company’s product line online. eCommerce Storefront is an online shopping experience for both business-to-business and business-to-customer web sites. Features include order entry, tracking, advanced searches, and account maintenance.

Commerce Insight (iCepts) – An eCommerce tool for ERP FACTS providing customers a self-service option and giving salespeople information while they are out of the office. Online, customers can create and track orders, look at previous purchases (quantities, pricing, dates), and print documents. Salespeople can access customer account data, create orders, and view purchase history. Commerce Insight can be set up to interact with existing web pages and design changes can be made with ease.

Pocket Advantage (Route Sell Solutions) – A Sales professional tool designed to extend the ERP FACTS order entry, pricing, and inventory databases to the field via mobile devices with user friendly screens and simple entry functions. Salespeople in distribution industries benefit from possessing customer contact information, customer purchasing history, inventory status, item pricing, promotions, and more as they travel.

EDI (EDI Alliance) – An Electronic Data Interchange solution for ERP FACTS companies using computer-to-computer transmission of business documents like purchase orders, invoices, and acknowledgement notices.

Relationship Management (Pivotal) – a fully integrated ERP FACTS module that can be used to manage multiple functions within your company. These functions could include but are not limited to, telemarketing, customer service, purchase order tracking, new product line implementation, credit and collections, and more.


Accessories

Electronic Signature Pad – A solution for ERP FACTS to capture signatures electronically. Entries are encryption protected to avoid signature duplication and tampering.

Bar Code – Bar coding can be used anywhere ERP FACTS prompts for an item code. Sales orders can also be identified by printing an order number bar code on the order print outs.

Electronic Price Update – An ERP FACTS feature providing companies a means to update standard or catalog item pricing.

Job Cost (Infor) – Provides dynamic job tracking along with the extensive reporting features needed to maximize sales and profits for project-oriented distributors.

Service & Repair (Infor) – Provides tools to manage a service and repair organization. Both field and depot level requirements are handled. While handling maintenance and warranty work, the Service and Repair module issues repair parts and tracks usage, costing, pricing and replenishment.

Equipment Rental (LSi) – Developed by Lowery Systems – the Equipment Rental module allows for serialized and non-serialized rental items to be tracked within ERP FACTS.

Request for Quote/Bid (LSi) – Developed by Lowery Systems – enables automated vendor bid requests from customer quotes. Automatic PO creation from selected bids, personalized vendor coding for commodity types, comprehensive traceability and in-depth process flow inquiries.
